Every project starts with the space. We conduct site inspections, assess wall conditions, lighting, sightlines, foot traffic, and architectural context before recommending a single artist or work. A major part of this is working out how art gets onto the wall. Commercial buildings rarely allow direct fixing, so we design and specify hanging systems as part of the feasibility process, not as an afterthought during install.

From there we produce feasibility reports and mock-up renders showing proposed artworks at scale in situ, so stakeholders can see exactly what the space will look like before any commitment is made.

For the Injalak Arts commission at Casselden, 2 Lonsdale Street in Melbourne, this process included a full site assessment of the Flex and Thrive co-working spaces, consultation with Injalak custodian Karen Coote, and rendered visualisations of large-scale fabric drops and framed panels mapped to specific wall positions across both floors.

We select artists based on the specifics of the brief, the building, and its tenants. Our network includes Australian and international practitioners working across painting, sculpture, video, digital media, and printmaking.

Every recommendation is specific to the site, the brief, and the audience. We match artists to spaces based on what the work will do in that environment, not what's trending or what's easy to source.

For the Future Visions programme at George Place and 477 Pitt Street in Sydney, we brought together international and Australian digital artists including Stefany Layton, Mia Forrest, and Sarah Main. Each was selected for the quality of their moving image and digital practice, not because they were available.

We acquire and commission physical and digital works on behalf of clients. This includes negotiating directly with artists and their representatives, managing licensing for digital content, and overseeing production of site-specific commissions.

Physical works range from framed prints and works on paper to large-scale fabric drops and bespoke sculptural commissions. Digital works include looping video, generative art, and AR-enabled pieces.

At 2 Lonsdale Street, we worked with Injalak Arts to acquire and produce a collection of hand-printed fabric panels and framed works on paper by Indigenous artists from Western Arnhem Land. At George Place, we acquired a series of framed botanical prints by Mia Forrest alongside AR-enabled painted works by Sarah Main.

Screen-based art in commercial buildings is usually an afterthought. We treat it as a curatorial programme.

Future Visions is our dedicated digital art initiative, placing commissioned and licensed moving image works on commercial-grade screens in foyer and common areas. Works are selected with the same rigour as physical acquisitions and rotated to keep the programme alive.

At 477 Pitt Street, Future Visions runs on Samsung commercial displays integrated into the building's tenant experience platform, featuring works by Stefany Layton and Mia Forrest. The programme extended from its original run at George Place after sustained positive feedback from building management and tenants.

We project-manage the full installation process: hanging systems, framing, freight, screen integration, and content delivery. We source and brief specialist installers, coordinate with building management on access and compliance, and supervise every install on site.

For projects involving custom fabrication or non-standard hanging, we design and produce bespoke mounting solutions to suit the building's structure and the artwork's requirements.
