This piece is inspired by time spent with my mob at The Cotter here on our beautiful

Ngunawal Country. Swimming, connecting and slowing down, we enjoyed the quiet

moments spent by the waterways.

Flowing throughout the artwork are hills, trees, boulders and fish in the waterways. As we

quietly swam, we watched kangaroos come down to the water for a drink, represented by

the kangaroo tracks woven throughout the artwork.

Painted in Country colours, this artwork shares the importance of spending time on Country

and the peaceful moments of connection, reflection and togetherness by the water.
